❝ My name is Silver, and my travelling companion is a slime named Puff. As you can probably see, I'm far from human ! I come from a very ancient civilization unknown to most as it was lost to time in the furthest reaches of the uncharted cosmos. Where am I from, you ask..? Well... ❞Silver fidgets a bit uncomfortably, but after a moment, continues on,❝ The civilization was called Moorne, a utopia made of shaped white marble and gold, surrounded by water. Think of this planets legends of Atlantis, for example. Much like this mythological city, my people were not that of fighters. We held knowledge above all, and thus held the histories of many different planetary systems. Though one day, our Emperor in his long lifespan... desecrated all that we were. ❞He pauses once more with a thoughtful look on his face, as if uncertain how to continue,❝ You see, my people are made of pure energy, similar to that of a star. Some of us would burn more dull and thus would live for eons, others more brightly but last mere centuries. Because of this, those with more dull lights would take the throne so that a change of power wasn't necessary often. Our final Emperor was one of these dull energies, and yet... he was a mistake. Nobody knew what came over him, a greed and lust for power perhaps... That was the most realistic theory we had, anyways. He slowly began to manipulate nearby planetary colonies, and that snowballed into conquering them, which in turn just continued. I was born during this century long war, a prophesized one, I guess you could say... ❞Silver sighs and shakes his head, a hollow and haunted look on his face,❝ When I was old enough, I was asked to fight, because my power is unending A blend of perfected energies as they called it. But like the rest of my people, I never wanted to fight, and I still don't like doing so. Because of this, I was labelled as a war criminal and was locked away in solitary confinement for... well, I don't truly know. My unit was specially built off planet, free floating in the void and served to drain my power and transmit it back to the armies, so... ❞He trails off for a long moment, a long and distant look on his face as he looks through you,❝ It wasn't until I met my now spouce, Levi, that I was freed. At some point the containment had drifted back into the known cosmos and they happened across it. To this day I'm still grateful for their rescue, even if they can't heal the scars those braces left on my wrists. Hmm ? Oh, Levi is this charted cosmos' God, they are the one keeping watch and ensuring the balance of all time and space. I'm not quite sure how old they are, I don't think they know either, not that I can blame them. After all, imprisonment made me lose track of my own age too. ❞

❝ My world has been abandoned for what I can only assume to be an unknown amount of eons. Once the war started, everyone completely abandoned their home and planet to continue on what they believed was a righteous crusade. They jumped from one planet to another, leaving it a more desolate wasteland than the last. Later they would come to realize that they were following a heretical beliefs, and everything they strived for was now lost in their own greed for bloodshed. ❞Silver looks uncomfortable again for a moment as he recalls everything that has happened thus far,❝ In its prime however, Moorne was beautiful. The structure of everything was made of shimmering white marble, constructed seamlessly into slabs and archways. We had winding spires and large circular platforms that everything was built upon in the middle of a vast and unending ocean. Everything was trimmed in intricate gold paneling and leafing. There was of course water gardens and farms, as well as designated areas for foliage as well. ❞He shifts as you ask him, ❝ But I thought Moorne was nothing but ocean ? How did you come across plants ? ❞❝ Hm ? Oh ! Well yes it is true Moorne was a water based planet, but other planetary systems gifted us foliage to make our atmosphere more inhabitable for them. After all given out original peaceful lifestyle, many others would stop by, and we eventually grew to have the largest intergalactic shipping port. We let them us our planet as their import and export hub, and in turn they gathered anything interesting, unknown, or worth noting for us to store in the archives. Many began to even assist in new building new floating platforms so they could build their own living structures as well ! Our planet slowly became very diverse, a mixture of many cultures and species... ❞

❝ Oh, yes, about my kind... Well, it's a bit hard to explain really. Like I mentioned before, my people aren't made of flesh and bone like yours. We're made in a very similar way to a star, I think is the easiest way to explain it. Not all of us were bound to last as long as the other, so I guess in a sense we are no different from you humans. We just simply... lasted much longer on a minimum basis.❞He shifts idly, glancing up at the star filled night sky as you ask, ❝ How could this be ? ❞❝ Well, that one I don't really know how to explain. I wasnt around my people at a good enough time to learn how each of us came into being more properly. From what I've come to understand after having returned upon being freed is that an offering was made to our moon, and if accepted, we were created. The offerings could be anywhere from extremely meager, or overly rich, though the moon was fickle regardless in its life blessings. ❞Silver looks back at you as you continue your interview questions, ❝ You worshiped the moon ? ❞❝ Not your moon, not the one you see in your sky, but yes we did worship our moon. That is where the name 'Moorne' comes from, though the name of my people are not exactly a direct translation in this language anyways. My people believed the moon to be a beautiful goddess, and everything we built, from our spires to the way we dressed, was all for her. Before you ask, yes, some part of me does still believe this despite being married to a real god.❞
